No Matter What: Good News for All Times

Because of the gospel, even in uncertain times there are certain realities we can count on NO MATTER WHAT! Writing from prison to the Philippians, Paul highlights many of these sure gospel truths. The letter is full of GOOD NEWS that gives hope and courage to hearts in ALL TIMES! As we are striving to “See Jesus,” in 2020, Paul and the Philippians provide real life models of what it looks like to see Jesus in uncertain times.

Seeing Jesus – The Gospel of Luke

There’s going to be a lot competing for our vision and attention in 2020. It will be urgent for us to “see Jesus” this year – not to lose sight of Him in the midst of everything else. Luke went on a great journey to discover Jesus – he worked hard to compile his gospel in a way that would be accurate and trustworthy. And through the stories of others, he came to see Jesus. And now we will allow him to lead us to see and follow Jesus!

Riding Together on Route 78

We take a look at the Biblical vision for intergenerational ministry found in Psalm 78 and throughout the scripture. Pastor Mike Foster unpacks this topic with us and issues a 78-day challenge (between January 19 and Palm Sunday) to pursue intergenerational relationships and interactions.

Hope for the Heart

David is known as a man "after God's own heart" and yet his life was full of sin, struggle and suffering. Still, God never gave up on him and he always (eventually) came back to God. We will journey with David and will learn from his successes and failures. His life leaves a legacy of lessons to apply to our hearts. We will see how the Bible gives real hope and help to us in the midst of the problems of life; and we will constantly visit with the Psalms to experience worship that overflows from David's real-life experiences.

Treasure Hunters

Our summer adventure will be a quest for truth in the book of Proverbs, focusing on select topics from Proverbs and unpacking God’s wisdom for our lives.  There is also a devotional guide for families to use as a resource with their children on any vacations they are pursuing this summer; AND we will learn to GEOCACHE together as we seek to discover precious gems of wisdom from this important book.
