Mother's Day Out
Mother’s Day Out at Forcey is a program for two and three year-olds designed to give children a pre-school “preview” while giving moms a morning off. Our teachers are loving, Christian women who have a heart for children. MDO offers playtime, snack time, Bible stories, singing and craft time for your child.
Our program runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from September 4, 2013 through May 23, 2014. We are open from 9:30am to 1:30pm. Children must be two (or three) years of age by September 1, 2013 to enroll. Monthly tuition is $75 per child per day enrolled for the 2013-2014 year, plus a one-time $40 registration fee. Children can be enrolled for a maximum of two days per week.
Please note that MDO will be closed on the following dates:
October 18, 2013 - Due to schools in surrounding counties including FCS being closed
November 27 and 29, 2013 for Thanksgiving
December 23, 2013 – January 3, 2014 for Christmas Break
January 20, 2014 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday
February 17, 2014 for President’s Day
April 14 - 21, 2014 for Easter Vacation
1) If FCS calls for a one hour or 2 hour delay, MDO will begin at 10:30am.
2) If FCS closes early, MDO will close at 12:30pm unless you are otherwise notified.
3) Exception: If FCS has a previously scheduled day off, then MDO will follow Montgomery County Schools for all weather related delays, early departures and closings.
If both FCS and Montgomery County have a previously scheduled day off, we will follow Prince George’s County. Please listen to WTOP radio for Forcey Christian School announcements. School delays and closings will also be posted on the FCS Website, www.forceychristianschool.org, and parents will usually receive notification by email. Announcements regarding delayed openings will typically be made by 6:30am. Announcements regarding early dismissals will normally be made by noon.
Registration for the 2014-2015 session will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 9:00am at Forcey Bible Church. At the time of registration, you will be asked to pay the first month’s tuition and a $40 registration fee.
